JURISDICTIONAL ISSUES/SALE IN INDIA ONLY

Unless otherwise specified, the products displayed on Folkstorys.com are solely for use in India. Those who wish to access this site from other location/country other than India, do so on their own initiative and Folkstorys.com is not responsible for the supply of goods/refund for the goods ordered from other locations/Countries other than India, or compliance with local laws, if and to the extent local law is applicable.

 

COMMUNICATION

By usage of this platform or by sending emails, data or any communication to us, you agree and are aware that you are communicating with us through an electronic medium, and thereby consent to receive communications via the electronic medium from us periodically or as and when required. We may communicate with you by email or by such other mode of communication, electronic or otherwise.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND OF ORDER

Folkstorys India reserves the right to cancel any order without any explanation for doing so, under situations where Folkstorys is not able to meet the requirement of the order placed, or the order so placed/cancelled does not comply with the Folkstorys Retail policy, or for any other reason.

TAKING DELIVERY OF YOUR ORDER

Inspect your order do not accept an order if the box is physically damaged. Contact Customer Support and inform them of the damage immediately.

EXCEPTIONS TO OUR SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY

The following exceptions will require extended shipment and/or delivery times:

  • Products prearranged for delivery on a COD basis are shipped only upon confirmation of the mobile number of the recipient, confirmation of the delivery address, and availability of the recipient to receive the goods.
  • Products that are normally stocked but that are temporarily out of stock.
  • Products that are not normally stocked and must therefore be specially ordered.
  • Items that are in transit thru states requiring special entry permits or other taxes such as in West Bengal, Maharashtra, Kerala, etc. Under such circumstances, you will be emailed regarding the specifics of your situation.

 

DELAYS IN SHIPPING

In the event, we may experience an unexpected delay in the shipment of your order. In such a case, you will be notified via email by FOLKSTORYS team. When delayed shipments become ready to ship, we will email you unless you contact us and choose to cancel any portion of your order that has not been shipped.

  • Standard Shipping: Our standard method of shipping is Surface Courier. You may expect to receive your order within 5-10 business days from the date of shipment.
  • Sofas Shipping: Heavy items/ Sofas which will be shipped through surface courier. You may expect to receive your order within5-7 weeks from the date of shipment.
  • Products with an ‘International’ label are imported from outside India and are delivered in 15-20 working days.

IF YOUR ORDER DOES NOT ARRIVE ON TIME

If your order doesn’t arrive within the particular delivery timeframe please let us know. Tracking information is provided via email for most of the orders. In an event, orders may become lost in transportation, delivered to the wrong address, or consigned to a person other than you. This may include a family member, neighbor, co-worker, or property manager. Packages may also be left at your front door, garage, or in a location hidden from plain view. If for some reason, your delivery has not been received within the specified timeframe and cannot be located with the tracking information provided, please contact us.

In the case of COD orders, our courier will make one to three attempts to deliver the order after which it will be returned to our warehouse. FOLKSTORYS reserves the right to not accept COD orders from any person including persons who have not previously received products and issued payments.

IF YOUR ORDER ARRIVES DAMAGED

Check the packing and DO NOT take delivery of a product that has been damaged. If any basis you are unable to reject accept the product from the courier, inform Customer service within 24 hours and we will ship out a replacement.

Can I get a free Home Delivery?
All the purchases at Folkstorys will be eligible for free delivery in India. For international shipping, there will be shipping charges extra.

How quickly do you deliver?
Depends on the delivery location, we have mentioned above.

If I purchase from Bangalore can it be delivered to other states in India?
Yes, Folkstorys.com will deliver the products to the PAN INDIA ( to the specific pin-codes).

Do I have to pay Sales tax for my order?
No all the prices inclusive of sales tax

How can I check if you deliver to my area?
Please check the serviceability by entering the Pin code on the pin code check area on the product page.

What payment methods you will accept?
You can use any one of the following payment methods: Credit card, Debit card, Net Banking, Paypal.

Can the furniture be customized?
We regret to inform you that, we do not have a customization option.

Which type of wood is used in sofa frames?
We are using several kinds of wood like Teak wood, Neem wood, Rubber wood, and Plywood for sofas.

Will the color and look remain the same as on the web page?
All the pictures on the websites are taken using high-resolution cameras, so based on your home interior and lights color may change. Depending on your screen resolutions there may be a slight variance in fabric color and wood polish of the image and actual product.
